REDNESDAY

Oh, I do believe that summer has arrived early in New England!
This "Sweet Cherries" box was a yard sale purchase. I think it was just a display box for the CD's it was holding because, when I asked about the box, the lady thought I wanted all the CD's in the box! But she finally agreed to sell me just the box.

It has a pretty matching interior, too!

Mister picked up this corner unit for $5 the other day, thinking it would go on a wall in the living room. I looked at it and said it should go on the kitchen counter to hold all his stuff that he collects in that corner! He loved the idea!

I found this blue milk jug at another yard sale this weekend, to add to my small collection. (I'm glad this and the above photo both have red in them!)

Like my neon Cafe sign? It's plastic! Isn't it cool?

Lastly, the first bloom of my Turkenlouis Oriental Poppy - brilliant!
This is one of those shots you couldn't take on purpose, if you tried. It's the back of the poppy. Right click and look at it close up - all the colors are original, I didn't do anything to it at all - cool! (Or maybe I should say psychedelic!)

What a cute post for Rednesday. I, too, love that cd box! But my very favorite is the corner cubby to hold all Mister's odds and ends. I have so many of those, I need one too. Very cool! :) Thanks for another fun Rednesday. Have a lovely week.

I just have to laugh....we are so alike! I had that box, it was from Michaels, and I had two other that were similar and nested inside...I finally gave them to Goodwill....I have to get rid of soem things......and these were not being used.....good sturdy boxes! Have fun with it! :) LOVE the corner piece for your kitchen, looks like it has always been there! :)

That box is you girl so glad you got it.

And I want to know your secret to growing poppies? I can't keep them alive and just bought another one and put it in my flower bed next to my herbs thinking it might be happy there?

Thanks for Rednesday
