REDNESDAY

Happy HOT Rednesday to you! Summer has finally arrived here in little ol' Medway - it's been about 90F/32C for a few days. Of course, that's to be expected because it's Vacation Bible School week - it's always hot for VBS week! Does anyone recognize the towel in the photo above? It's from the set I won from Puddle Jumper Creations back in April. I love them, and one is usually hanging on my oven handle just about every day!

Below, I'm showing a rearrangement on my above-sink shelf in the kitchen.

This awesome measuring glass holds 1-1/2 cups, or 12 ounces. I've never seen one this large, and it goes so nicely with my other red-lettered measuring glasses, below.

Three's a collection!

On the other red/white tulip shelf is my red-capped glass S&P collection, of which I've added a few sets since I last showed it.
I made this large, 6"x6", tag in May. Katherine was invited to her friend's graduation party and we couldn't afford a gift. So I made this. But, when Katherine saw it, she thought I had made it for her, and I didn't have the heart to tell her it was for Taylor - so Katherine got it and never knew! (Katherine graduates this year, but has to finish her tutoring through the summer before she gets her diploma.) P.S. - she never did go to Taylor's party!
This was made with a chipboard shape and the Mary Engelbreit prints are from my daily calendar.

What cute reds - I especially love the handmade tags - so cute! Sounds like you made the perfect choice! And such fun and practical ways to save money. With so much bad news for all of us seniors and boomers out there, it's nice to read such nice and encouraging news and ideas. Have a blessed, beautiful, and VERY RED week. :)

I'm sure you can guess how much I love your little shelves.....and everything on them too! And isn't it so validating when our children actually like something that we've made? You must have been thrilled that she wanted that pretty tag for herself!
Happy REDnesday!

Your tag is nice!!

Don't you just love those old Tulip kitchen shelves and such. I have your corner shelf in green along with the other style of corner shelf to match. I have your little spice shelf in green, too! Then I have two of the knife racks to the set. I wonder if there is anything else to the set that I don't know about!!

Rednesday is here again? It's hot here, but not as hot as it is there. It's been pretty mild actually.

Your shelves are lovely! I also like that little red cookstove that is on your shelf. It reminds me of my grandmother's stove!
