Welcome to Rednesday! I picked up this historic novel because, well, look at the name of it - my last name is Wickett! The story is centered in Boston - I live 45 minutes out of the city. Set during the 1918 influenza epidemic, Lydia marries Henry Wickett - my Mister's name! Henry's former business partner steals the formula for a medicine Henry created called Wickett's Remedy. Can't wait to read it!

Funny about the book. I had a short story once featuring a main character with my first and last name!

I agree with you would have made much more sense to keep the kids home another day or so than to risk someone getting injured! Also love that red truck, those smooth red curves are lovely.....lol
This is my first time to participate,
Linnea over at Daddy and Neabear I think it is, happened to come by and
I came to visit her, and saw her Rednesday post, and I had just done
a red tablescape last week, so decided to try it. Thanks so much for hosting.........
Blessings, Nellie
