Happy Rednesday! Well, what do you think of the new Blogger design and layout we have to work with? I need time to decide if I like it or not! (So far I don't!) Hmmm . . .

Anyways, this round canister with the rose is new to my collection. I acquired it at the thrift shop last week. It still has some flour left in it!

On the right side of this little vignette, on the shelf above my computer, is a "fairy" potting table. I got the cupboard at Michael's for $1.00, painted it, and the garden theme evolved from there.

Now, here we have an interesting, and practical, item. Any idea what it is? This is how I found it at the thrift store~

I undid the velcro and it looks like this ~

Then unfolded like this ~

Ah! Here's a clue ~

Voila! It's a pic-a-nic basket!

Unzip the whole thing , spread it out, and you have an instant picnic "table". You don't even have to transfer food from the basket to a blanket or table. And cleanup is just as easy - rezip and you're good to go!

 It sure is!

You know I almost posted today about the new eblogger interface. I'm not at all crazy about it because it looks like if you don't use the Google Chrome browser it doesn't work right. I'm having problems seeing part of the view for creating a post. I was so frustrated that I switched back to the old view today until they stop supporting it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it work?
I do Love your collaspable picnic basket though, Very cute!
Thanks for sharing with us all.

That picnic basket is absolutely fabulous. I actually posted about the new blogger interface today on my blog with some tips. It's definitely got a learning curve, especially for PC users.

Enjoyed seeing all your reds today. I am sure we will be forced to change our way of posting, but I may have to give up my blog.

I have that same little $1 potting bench, but mine's a hutch IN my fairy garden (or at least it was until it fell apart). Love the picnic basket too. So glad you were intrigued enough to check it out. Great find!

I love the picnic basket! And the canister is lovely. When I saw it I suddenly remembered that we had two like this when I was a child. A red one like yours and a pink one.

Hi Sue!
Thanks for hosting this redtastic day! I always like your layouts. The flower carts banner looks like vintage shelf paper. Great find on that canister. Must've been a whole kitchen set for that pattern.....table cloth, apron, glasses, which have on my website, then potholders, trivets, and even plates that I could kick myself for not picking up at the Ant. mall!!
Fun find on the picnic basket...that'll get used a lot I bet 8o)
Have a nice Rednesday!
