MORNING GLORIES

I have some Morning Glories  that self-seed on the south side of my garden shed. I think all the seeds are Burpee's, but can't remember.

This one is Blue Star
 This is Milky Way
And this one I can't remember the name. I do know that it's not Grandpa Ott or Star of Yelta.
They grow kinda scraggly, which is okay. But, it would be better if they grew thick and lush, like this cute cottage picture!

Of all my life and loving flowers, I have never had a morning glory. That dark purple is awesome.

These are my favorite flower! And so beautiful and delicate! I love the white with the touch of colors! My grandpa grew these on the back picket fence and on strings on the side of the garage...just the purple, but to this day I can see them clear as can be!

The one in the cute cottage photo is a perennial morning glory. I cannot grow them here as it gets too cold but when I lived in the Valley I had them, and they do grow lush. Mine Star of Yelta and Milky Way morning glories are growing thickly along my back fence now so they look lush and the lighter blue one you have a photo of is a cross between the two, I have it as well so maybe we should name it, Milky Star??? Yelta Way??

I love the bottom photo of them growing on the house. When I was a child I used to love how a morning glory would cling to my nose when I tried to smell the fragrance.
