I can't believe it's time for Rednesday once again! We had a four-day weekend here in my town because of a teacher training day, along with Columbus Day. It's been getting chilly here so I, reluctantly, potted up and took cuttings of plants to bring in for the winter. And, surprisingly, I still have some red flowers . . .

A few weeks ago I showed you this photo of my Dahlia 'Rebecca's World' with pink Sedum 'Autumn Joy'.

Now see how deep red the sedum has turned, and it seems like the dahlia is more reddish than pink, too!

These are Barberry berries.

The red Mums have finally bloomed this week! I always look forward to these. Hint: if you want mums in your garden but don't want to pay for them, watch curb sides and the dump towards the end of Fall for the potted ones that people throw away. Most of them are perennials. That's how I got these beauties!

I was getting worried about this plant. It's a Cardinal Climber vine. It grew nice and vigorous all summer, but I've read that they will either bloom in September or not at all. I kept watching but no flower buds at all last month. Boy was I excited to see the first flowers this past week! They seem to be so happy!

Love your flowers! My Mums are blooming too, but your red ones are just gorgeous!

Joining in with very little red I'm afraid, but wanted to share my friends artistry.

Thanks for hosting Sue! Pam

Aren't the days just flying by?!

You're so lucky to still have flowers! Everything here is dead, dry, dusty and smokey! Yuk!
