Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving and long weekend! I did! Today (Tuesday) we had a steady light snowfall all day. Just a dusting, but it was enough to put one in the holiday mood! I don't have much this week because my camera is being uncooperative (don't ya just love blaming it on the camera? lol!).
Picked up another Christmas book at the thrift shop this week. It's called "The Fireside Book of Christmas Stories", 1945.
Also got a few sheets of "vintage" wrapping paper. I'm guessing by the prints that they're from the 70's which, to me, isn't vintage yet!
That's all I have this week. What can you show me?

Great book Sue! The paper may not be vintage, but it's old and very cute. Thanks for hosting.
Hugs,
Jann
Wow! A book. That's red. And old. The 'vintage' wrapping paper looks wonderful too. My kind of treasures. I'm jealous.
Love that old Christmas book! I started a collection of those a few years ago, and always forget to look for more. Probably because I have way too many other collections that I'm thinking about!
Happy REDnesday,
Carol
I'm not quite ready to celebrate Christmas just yet...but love, love to look at what everyone else is doing for the holiday! Can't wait to see this week's Rednesday submissions!
I love the old "Fireside" books! Great vintage paper! You could make so many fun things with that!!

70's papers are cute.
I recently bought a box of 70s wrapping paper at an estate sale. Your papers are fabulous. Can't wait to check everyone's postings. Thanks for hosting!
Your comment about the '70's not being vintage made me laugh.....I feel the same way! Love the look of that old red Fireside book. Thanks for hosting, Happy REDnesday! :)

Thanks so much for hosting Rednesday! It should be very easy to find some red each week since Christmas is coming, LOL! Off to visit some great blogs!
Thanks for hostessing, I'm trying to hold back on Christmas decorating until 12/1 but after seeing your links I may have to get started now! Mary
Thanks too for hosting Rednesday!
I love Christmas Books!Merry Christmas!Thanks for hosting!
I enjoy all books, old or new. Just not as much time to read and blog too. Take care and have a good week.
As you can tell, my Sandwich Generation family is also in the Christmas mood! And I'm with you, that paper doesn't look THAT vintage to me either - though my kids were just babies then....hmmmm...where DOES the time fly! :) Have a blessed week!
Bookaholic over here, I perk up at the word, book! ;) Your book has a charming cover, does it have illustrations?
Happy happy Rednesday!
